Grain & Seed Trade Golf Day – May 2021

May 24th, 2021
The Ashburton Grain & Seed Association & New Zealand Grain & Seed Trade Association held the annual Ambrose Golf Day on Thursday 20th May on a perfect Canterbury autumn day.
Hosted by the Tinwald Golf Club with around 80 players made up of association members, managers, agents, office and store staff.
The Duncan Storrier trophy was up for grabs with the 2020 winners keen to retain it. However, being a game of 18 holes, the pressure was on and with only 2.75 shots between first and second place, the team from Hamburg Sud took out the win and the trophy.
The Hamburg team members were Mark Ryan, Grant Milner, David King and Gordon Kenton with a score of 55 shots; followed by second place Speciality Seeds with 57.75 shots.
A great day out was had by all and industry members got the opportunity to network and catch up.
Thank you to all those who took part in the day and sponsors to help make the day a success.
