Hi I’m Anna. I have just completed my second year of a Bachelor of Science at Lincoln University, majoring in Plant Science.
Growing up in a hybrid vegetable seed production environment not only taught me to appreciate the upmost importance that the agricultural sector in our daily lives, but also, inspired me to come to Lincoln to study Plant Science. Since commencing my studies I have been exposed to many different sectors within the New Zealand agricultural sector. This has been most interesting and stimulating.
This upcoming year I am looking particularly looking forward to the Seed Technology paper offered in Second Semester and the Science and Entrepreneurship paper in first semester. I look forward to graduating and applying what I have learnt during my studies.
It is a great privilege to have been awarded this scholarship. It will greatly assist me in managing student debt. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the New Zealand Grain and Seed Trade Association.
